I am a practitioner of Zen Buddhism, and my Dharma name is Masumi. This name, given to me by my teacher when I took the Buddhist precepts in a Jukai ceremony in 2009, means “Clear Truth.”
As of January 5, 2018, I declared my intention to train to become an ordained Zen teacher. The intention of this blog is threefold: to document what I’m learning through the process of training; to share my breakthroughs, insights and breakdowns with you, the reader; and to serve as a vehicle for creativity and dialogue about Zen practice.
